Big City Revue!
I just like to tell you from me and my husband, Billy, for a great birthday party that we had at Fandangos on 7/8/05. You brought the house down with your great music and your wonderful singers. When my girl Chris sang Alicia Keys I about cried it was so nice. I hope you return to sacramento area soon so we could hear you play again. Again thank you for a great time.

Dear Gig & Rae ~
Thank you for your generous donation to the San Francisco and Silicon Valley Chapters of NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) Your donation made this event possible. DC and his break dancing pal were the perfect act to greet our guests. This really kicked off our meeting theme, “That’s Entertainment”. They were a pleasure to work with and we appreciate your professionalism as we executed this amazing event.
We had over 80 event professionals from two chapters and everyone had a great time. This type of publicity and networking will provide you with future business ………… we are sure of that!!
Thank you again for your donation and please extend our best to DC, he was incredibly entertaining! I truly hope to see you at future NACE meetings to network and promote your business. Mark your calendars as we meet the second Tuesday of every month.
Yours sincerely,
Elena Lipkins

Dear Gig and Eddie,
Thank you both so much for helping to give my husband and all 50 of our guests the BEST surprise 40th birthday party he could ever have dreamed of! Reed Fromer and his band were AWESOME! You really impressed me by inviting Deb and me to your office on a weekend to hear the band's music online when we had no other computer access available! I also truly appreciate you finding us the perfect R&B / Blues band with only a week's notice! Next time we'll plan ahead better, but thanks anyway for going the extra MILE!

Gig - JD and Company was OUTSTANDING - there is no better way to describe them. They were professional, patient and performed so well. I am so pleased with their performance.
I tried to give them the check Saturday night and they said I had to mail it to Associated Entertainment. Please confirm that I should send the final payment to the Dwight Road address.
Thanks again!

Eddie:
Thank you very much for your involvement in a very successful 2005 NCBS. You delivered the band that we wanted most -- Journey -- and took care of all our personal requests leading up to our VIP event/concert on 2/28. I know that all our customers were entertained and well-served, while the company highlighted its most recent gems: Grey Goose, Corzo, BACARDI Big Apple, and Island Breeze. All products were very well received, and everything went off without a hitch!
Journey delivered in spades. They rocked hard for a solid 2 hours, were more than accommodating at the meet & greet, and stayed out with the heartiest BUSA "rock & rollers" into the wee hours of the night! Everyone from their manager, to the crew, was a genuine pleasure to work with. What a great (and talented) five guys.
We look forward to working with you again in the future.
Best regards,
Celio

Rhythm Nation rules Vegas. To my brother musicians. Last week was one of my few weeks off in months, and RN made it all the more enjoyable. I believe I caught their act every night at the Luxor -- I think I was even sitting front row on Monday, which was their night off If it were Atlantic City, folks would be paying a hefty cover to enjoy talent of this caliber. This band is SO very tight and incredibly versatile. As a keyboardist I now count as two of my all time favorites, Damon and Bobby. These cats put the rhythm in RN and their solo work is so fast that their talent can come from only one direction -- up there^. DeAndre is undoubtedly one of the finest guitarists I've heard...ever. And for me ever is fast approaching 35 years in the business. He's not only a great funkmaster on the telecaster but his rock leads relegate Eddie Van Halen to status of a guitar tech on the RN road crew. What a sweet surprise to hear a drummer and bass player who seem to be directly connected to the master metronome which is kept ticking away in Maurice White’s basement. Where do they get their energy? By the way, I love the tattoo on Giovanna’s left shoulder And it goes without saying that the front team makes watching the show an experience in itself. Steve O not only can sing – he should be playing the lead in one of those CSI series. (CSI: Castro Valley) How can an act fail when it covers the songs that bring smiles to everyone’s face and forces the hips to gyrate with the beat. And to my light skinned audience brothers and sisters – remember, it’s OK to dance!!! That light glowing from the peak of the Luxor last week – that was Rhythm Nation. Next time I work in Vegas – I’ll be looking up these cats. And if they happen to be off that week, I’ll find a damn garage somewhere in Clark County and we’ll jam! Peace, Bobby
Good Afternoon Gig, Just wanted to drop you a little note to tell you Thanks for all the help you provided us on securing Busta Groove and Bob Tolar Sound. I have heard nothing but great comments from all the attendees and our entire banquet committee. The band, Martin Benetar and Ryan from (Tolar Sound) were all very courteous helpful and very accommodating (the band had to rush to get dressed earlier since our program ran early). The band had a wonderful energy and had the entire dance floor filled to overflowing capacity the entire night. This in all the years that I have been on the Banquet Committee has never happened before. The lead singers did a wonderful job of getting the audience to participate in a sing-along and a fun conga line. I danced the entire night (It took me two days to recuperate from it but it was well worth it. I look forward to working with you on future events. Thanks again Corina DeLaTorre Sacramento Regional Transit

September 25th, 2001 Mr. Gig Xifaras Associated Entertainment Consultants 2 Dwight Road Burlingame, CA 94010 Dear Gig: Brett Robinson and Dave Schrader?s wedding September 22nd at Kunde Estate Winery was a smashing success with the most complimentary and exciting music that you secured for all of us. The Celebration held at the Dunfillian Ruins required BIG CITY REVUE to arrive early, be shuttled to and from the site and even with that special requests all the musicians wee on time and performed beautifully. I sincerely appreciate allowing open communication between Charles and myself. Coordinating the prior day set up was especially necessary and succeeded in making the wedding day a flawless occasion. Again, thank you. Sincerely, Dee Merz

Dear Eddie ~ The event was a great success. I did not realize how many of my co-workers were such gamblers. I think the DJ felt a bit left out. I did enjoy the music too! Overall, I just want to thank you for your help and patience in getting this check to you. You will certainly hear from me when I am coordinating my next event.

Dear Charles, We wanted to thank you so much for making my wedding memorable and fun. Your music was instrumental in making the party entertaining for all the guests. You were very professional and easy to work with. Your band was top notch with lots of energy and variety. The voices were excellent and the instrumentation was fabulous. You handled the fall very well and revved it up nicely after she left. We were very impressed with the way you handled this unexpected event and chose to turn the mood around and make the party even more fun. My family and I would hire you again in a heart beat and have great memories of our wedding. Thanks again, Alexis and Shawn

What A Great Band! Big City Revue Rocks! Hi Gig, Just wanted to say thanks for hooking us up with Big City Revue. WOW! We had so many positive comments that I can imagine more business coming your way. They were professional, and at every turn told me not to worry and just enjoy the party. The songs were perfect. Every member of the band was money. They knew what I liked and they tailored the songs beautifully. Their set up man, Michael, helped out to set up sound for the mic, the slide show, and mood music through the iPOD. I can't wait for the next event when I need a band. Working with you was great! You are a detailed man and Libby and I appreciate that. You run a class act. Take care, Fred - A new member of the 40 year old club You know, Libby will be 40 someday?

Eddie: Thank you very much for being such big help in putting together the dance contest for the American Express event. By all accounts, it was a huge success! I just wish that I had been able to experience more of it. I came down briefly during Round 1 and saw that the folks were really into it. I hope that Charles and the rest of the band had a good time. Please pass along my sincere thanks to Big City Revue for the excellent job that they did. I have enclosed a huge tip for them! Thanks again for everything and I look forward to our next opportunity to work together. Sincerely, Zack Strober Mana, Allison & Associates

July 13, 2004 Gig, I am pleased to take a moment to write this long overdue letter of recognition and appreciation for all that you and your crews have done to elevate the quality and professionalism of our 'Town Hall Meeting' series. When I took over this department, the THM's at Genentech were dreadful. Faced with tight budget and the horrible constraints of building # 21, you have been able to significantly improve the look, feel and overall attendee experience of this meeting. Of particular note: ' You have been very consultative with ideas to make 'space challenges' (no heat, no air conditioning, noise, rattling doors) be less of a factor ' Your team has been very flexible and added great value to improve the production with creative use of lighting, appropriate sound amplification and more appropriate staging solutions ' Flexibility has been a key word as we make scheduling and program changes up to the final morning of these programs Please extend my thanks to Jim, John and your entire crew. I actually look forward to next week's meeting (something I could not have said 24 months ago!) I'll see you then. Sincerely, Michael Mahoney Senior Manager, Meetings & Events Genentech / Bio Oncology

Hi Gig, I wanted to thank you so much for setting us up with Busta Groove for our 5/30 Napa wedding. Busta Groove rocked and all of the guests loved them. Ian, the bandleader, was very cool and professional. He was not only a great lead singer but a fun mc. The rest of the band was great too. The true test of how good they were was when the power went down a couple times at the end of the night, they continued to play and people continued to dance. I think some bands would have packed it up and gone home. Our wedding was beautiful and a blast and Busta Groove played a big part in it! Thanks again. Best, Kristin Kalush & Dave Rich
