Celtic Sands

Celtic Sands is a classical trio and sometimes quartet founded
by solo harpist/pianist Lara Garner. The choices of instrumentation
are wide, since these versatile musicians play violins, cello, piano,
harp, guitar & flute. This highly-trained group of professionals
can provide elegant classical music for formal occasions in the
form of the standard piano trio, for example, or a unique and lovely
trio of harp, fiddle & guitar. For more lively entertainment, they play
a vast array of danceable polkas, reels, jigs and lilting waltzes in a
less-formal style.

Welcome! Celtic Sands is a harp, fiddle, guitar trio (or quartet),
playing traditional celtic music from the British Isles. Our great
versatility is shown in our instrumentation which includes fiddle,
twin fiddles, celtic harp, guitar, flute, piano, whistle, recorder,
mandolin, and the Irish drum, the bodhran. This highly-trained
group of professionals can provide lovely haunting aires and songs for
elegant occasions or a vast array of lively polkas, reels, hornpipes, waltzes,
Irish jigs and Scottish strathspeys for parties and outdoors events.
