Lydia Pense, one of the most talented and dynamic singers to emerge from San Francisco, doing so by assembling some of the best musicians in the Bay Area to perform with her. The new Cold Blood has a contemporary sound featuring Rock as well as the styles of Rhythm and Blues and Funk which originally made the band famous. Together Lydia Pense and Cold Blood are not only performing the songs that made this a great San Francisco Band, but are once again producing new songs that will make them one of the most exciting bands to emerge from San Francisco.

| Just saw Lydia Pense and Cold Blood perform in concert in Seattle, and Lydia is looking and sounding better than ever. She has got an incredible voice, with a dynamic range, and that set of pipes on her that lights up the room. Her current band is a super line up of talent, and help deliver a full sound, and they're fun to watch. Lydia is one of the most underappreciated talents and great rock/r&B, funk vocalists of our generation. She's stayed true to her roots after all these years, and is a genuine artist. Who else can say they had an album produced by Donny Hathaway? Who else can say they were at the forefront of the San Francisco/Fillmore music movement? Heck, she was even photographed on her early Atlantic Records albums (and San Franisco label records) by none other than world famous photogrqpher Herb Greene, official photographer of the Grateful Dead, and other stellar San Francisco acts. |

I was instantly blown away with this CD. I've been a Cold Blood fan since the mid '70s. I recently picked it up at the Crossroads Concert in Fresno. I
was really blown away with the amazing clarity & bass punch. The new cuts are some of the best Cold Blood ever.
