Brad Paisley was signed to Arista records and issued his debut album, Who Needs
Pictures in 1999. The album produced two chart-topping singles, “We Danced,"
and "He Didn't Have to Be." The sequel to Paisley's first album, Part
2 was released in 2001 and launched him to the Top Five with the hits, "I'm
Gonna Miss Her” and "Two People Fell in Love." "I Wish You'd
Stay" became the fourth Top Ten hit on the record in 2003. In 2007 he released
5th Gear, which included the worldwide hit, “Ticks.” On November 10,
2010 Paisley co hosted the 44th CMA Awards, where he was also awarded the CMA's
top award, Entertainer of the Year. Brad Paisley's 10th album was released
in 2011 and the single, “Old Alabama” was his 19th number one hit.
It was announced that Paisley would release two songs on the Cars 2 soundtrack
and he plans another world tour in the near future.
