Jim Karol became a professional performer at the age of 29. Now, after more than 3000 shows, he is one of the most sought after performers of his time. His memory skills have earned him world record titles, and he has been deemed the 'psychic madman' by many professionals.
Jim Karol grew up in Allentown, PA, where he worked part time as a police officer and was an employee at the local steel mill. He soon picked up the nickname 'magic,' from his fellow steelworkers because of the various tricks and stunts he pulled on them. This is where Jim Karol realized his passion for entertainment.
Jim Karol is currently one of a handful people in the world that can bend a steel spike with his bare hands, a skill he improved while working at the mill.
Word of mouth soon spread about this "madman of magic," and before you know it Jim Karol found the front pages of hundreds of newspapers across the country, and appeared on dozens of televisions shows when he predicted the Pennsylvania lottery worth over 12 million dollars.
Jim Karol then appeared on the Montel Williams Show for breaking the Guinness World Record for throwing a playing card well over 200 feet. The United States Playing Card Company began sponsoring Jim Karol and eventually produced and developed a CD and booklet called "Cool Card Tricks." Jim Karol also wrote a book called "50 Ways to Hustle Your Friends." Since then, Jim Karol has set two additional world records and has written two books on improving your memory.
Today Jim Karol is a regular at several casino's and major corporations throughout North America. He has appeared on numerous television shows, including NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Jim Karol is bringing a new outlook to the future of entertainment with his entourage of young 22 year old performers who he found after a long, difficult search for talent. Taking what he has learned over the past 20 years, Jim Karol is applying everything he knows and putting it into these three young stars to produce one sensational show.
When Jim Karol and his crew are off stage, he is working hard on a brand new television special with his new side kicks Chris Chelko, and Michael DuBois who he has recently trained, and is currently planning a show for the Las Vegas 'Late-Night' crowd for summer 2004.
Look for a brand new memory product called "Mind Wiz" created and developed by Jim himself. Jim Karol's shows are truly original and his shows are without a doubt the most unique you will ever see, anywhere.
