The Three Sisters have been performing together all of their lives. In their youth, they studied the character, style, and talent of such dancers as Gene Kelly, Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. Once bellydance was introduced into their lives, they became mesmerized by well renowned dancers such as Jamila Salimpour and Ibraham Farrah.
In 1995, Allegra and April formed a troupe with several other dancers. Soon, Celeste joined her two sisters to create the family phenomenon that is The Three Sisters Bellydancers. Their strikingly similar dance style and appearance create an aesthetic of beauty that you must see to believe. In 2001 they were voted "Best Dance Trouper in San Francisco's North Bay.
Their continued studies of Middle Eastern culture root their dance style in its ancient beginnings, while they incorporate contemporary choreography and movement. Their performances weave together dynamic group dances with original and innovative duets and solos. The Three Sisters have performed throughout the bay area, Oregon and New York with international appearances in Nepal, Ball, Costa Rica and Mexico.
